NXT is a material that was developed for the US Army in the early 90s, and is the base material of Julbo's premium lenses. NXT delivers high definition vision, superior optical quality and maximum transparency.
Made using low-temperature casting techniques which reduce internal stresses in the material, retaining strength whilst being highly mouldable.
NXT is not merely unbreakable, but bulletproof.
Cameleon, Zebra and Polar+ lenses are made from NXT. |

CAMELEON lenses are made from NXT.
These lenses are both POLARISED and PHOTOCHROMIC. High definition, anti-glare lenses polarising lenses that darken or lighten between Categories 3 and 4 as the brightness changes.
The quality of performance of these lenses comes from integration of pigments into the core material, rather than the application of a coating.

ZEBRA lenses are made from NXT.
Rapid reaction photochromic lenses. The change from light to dark takes a mere 22 to 28 seconds, compared to standard photochromics, which can take a full 10 minutes to change.
Category change from 2 to 4.

Photochromic lenses perform best (go darker) at low temperaturess, when ironically, you're less likely to need them. However, at the time of writing, the cold, clear conditions outside are perfect for ZEBRA lenses. |

POLAR PLUS lenses are made from NXT.
These are a high precision, glare reducing, polarising lens with anti-reflection. Eliminates dazzling sun glints from reflective surfaces. A step up from JULBOs polarised polycarbonate lenses.
