The Range Explained
The Myo collection was introduced in 2003 as five torches, replacing the long-established Petzl Zoom (although this is still available).
The range quickly developed as Petzl introduced the MyoLite versions, which due to their weight savings from using less batteries, did not need a top strap to prevent slippage down over the eyes. The halogen and 3 LED combinations proved to be the most popular with consumers, giving the best balance of value and performance.

Myo XP
A single high-powered LED fires a 45m, which extends to 65m in boost mode. BOOST MODE WILL ONLY LAST 20 SECONDS, even when held, to prevent excess battery drainage. There are three other settings - high, medium and low. Light duration up to 170 hours.
Takes 3 AA cells. A flip-up filter disperses the beam into a pool of proximity light. Spare bulb supplied. Tilting head. 175g. £50.00

Myo 3

The 3 LED cells (beneath the main light) are operated by rotating the bezel. The long beam of up to 90m from the halogen bulb, is operated by continuing to rotate the top bezel through. Light duration up to 180 hours.
